Our mission at the League of Women Voters Charlotte Mecklenburg is to register voters and inform the public about issues that matter is a vital part of the civic life of our local community.

1920 was a landmark year. The 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote was ratified, and the League of Women Voters was founded.
